The design of the media facade consists of individual elements in the form of LED strips, which together turn into a huge screen. The pixel pitch depends on the distance between the diodes on a separate line and the location of the lines relative to each other. We have LED strips with pixel pitch from 10mm to 32mm. Basically, LED media facades have a large area and are viewed from a long distance, so options with a large step are used. Usually, increasing the pixel pitch results in a decrease in brightness, but our engineers have produced sticks with an unprecedentedly bright “pixel” that allows you to produce a clear picture even in direct sunlight.

Technologies

Rack media facade.

The screen is assembled from individual LED strips. DIP diodes of three colors are located on them at a certain interval. The pixel pitch on the bar is from 25 to 64 mm. Orientation bars on the screen is possible in a vertical and horizontal position. The closer the bars are to each other, the brighter the media facade and the higher its resolution, which means the better the video quality. The absence of a cabinet allows you to assemble arched and cylindrical media facades from planks. The size of the bar also varies from 200 to 2000mm. This makes it possible to make installations of complex shape. Power and control units are placed in a separate box.

The structural element in this case is a special type of light cabinet. The power supplies and the control system are placed inside a metal box in the form of a pencil case, and strips with DIP or SMD diodes are attached to it. Each cabinet is connected with one cable. This type of media facade is the most common technology for installing large areas, as well as the most reliable. The media facade package includes a special aluminum substructure on which cabinets are mounted. Substructure fastenings are designed for any type of facade - glass, aluminum, concrete.

The structural element of the screen is a separate washer with a group of SMD or DIP diodes. It is a separate pixel, a light source programmed to broadcast an image or decorative lighting. The washers are interconnected by power and signal wires. The quality and brightness of the image depends on the distance between them. There are many ways to install these elements of the media facade (on cables, clips, cutting into the surface, etc.). This allows you to create any design forms and 3D art objects.

Individual LED strips are placed in a special dissipative plastic case. It is widely used in architecture and is programmed as a solid screen for broadcasting a simple graphic image or as a dynamic backlight. They are mounted on the facade of the building at a considerable distance from each other in profiles between double-glazed windows. This makes it invisible from inside the premises, but outside the whole building at night the building turns into an LED installation. Since the planks are far apart, the project cost per unit area is low.

Media facade screen - grid.

This type of equipment is essentially an LED screen and has high technical performance in terms of refresh rate and brightness (3840Hz, 7500cd/m2) and. Special type modules make it 30%-50% transparent. Cabinets are made of aluminum in the size of 1000 x 500mm and 500 x 500mm with a pixel size of 15 to 10mm. The cabinets have rear and front service, which allows installing a screen with a minimum thickness (from 100 mm) without the use of complex metal structures. It is used in the advertising industry, as well as in the rental industry.
